Our Transformation Design & Execution team works across a variety of industries to help our clients successfully deliver business transformations by connecting strategy and execution. This career opportunity seeks individuals who not only understand the role technology plays in large scale transformations, but who have experience in designing and integrating technology and business processes to produce value driven solutions.
What you will do
As a Transformation Design & Execution Senior Consultant, you will be part of a larger TD&E engagement team serving one client at a time. You will work directly with the EY engagement leadership team and clients daily to plan, design, deliver and deploy solutions for our clients. These solutions often include multiple capabilities i.e. demand intake, demand prioritization, budget allocation, portfolio scenario planning, financial management, program/project execution, schedule management, risk & issue management, resource management, value planning & realization, KPI definition and data analytics via reporting & dashboards.
From project start to finish, the EY team is responsible for a variety of work products which demand a team with a diverse skill set. A common project may include some or all of the below:
Current versus future state and corresponding gap analysis
Op Model Design
Solution design workshop preparation and facilitation
Business process design
Hands on technology configuration
Technology design and coordination with remote technology teams on custom development
Designing governance models (including Transformation Management Offices (TMOs), Enterprise Program Management Offices (EPMOs) or Program Management Offices (PMOs)
Data analytics and insights (both in Excel and BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau)
Solution delivery, change management and adoption
Job requirements and preferences
Required qualifications
Currently pursuing an MBA with approximately 3+ years of relevant work experience within industry, consulting or a related field.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrate inclusivity, and embrace diverse perspectives.
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to all audiences while leveraging relevant data to generate insights and innovative solutions.
Intellectual curiosity, the ability to take initiative and drive execution, and advanced analytical and problem-solving skills within a dynamic and evolving business landscape.
Exhibits an agile and growth-oriented mindset.
Possesses strong commercial awareness and has a desire to make a positive impact on global companies as well as domestic businesses, contributing to their long-term success.
Preferred qualifications
Prior work experience on large scale complex programs providing consulting services in at least one of the following areas:
PMO/EPMO design/set up and delivery, Program road-mapping design, PMO maturity assessment, End-to End ERP implementation, End-to End Project Portfolio Management implementation, Transformation Office design/set up and delivery.
Project and Portfolio Management process design work in at least one of the following areas Assessments, Process Design, Capability Roadmap Development, PMO Setup & Operations, Data Framework and Design and Automation & Digital Enablement.
Portfolio and Program Tool expertise such as: MS Project, Clarity, Primavera, MS Server, Plainview, Niku HP, Azure Dev Ops, Jira.
PM Methodology expertise such as: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall.
Experience supporting and participating in pursuit efforts. Experience with the end-to-end RFP process (RFP, Response, Proposal, Client Presentation, SOW and Execution) and understanding of client procurement processes.
